\n \nWe're working with an innovative US technology company developing advanced infrared gas laser systems for a new approach to uranium isotope enrichment.
\n \nThey're looking for a hands-on Laser Technician / Engineer to join their growing R&D team, supporting the development, testing and optimisation of laser technology that could play an important role in the future of nuclear energy.
\n \nThis isn't a role where you'll spend your days behind a desk. You'll be in the laboratory, working directly with laser systems, solving technical challenges and helping turn experimental technology into something commercially viable.
\n \nWhat makes this opportunity different?
\nWhat experience would make you a good fit?
\n \nYou'll need practical experience working with lasers, optics or related precision equipment, whether gained in an industrial or laboratory environment.
\n \nAn understanding of laser alignment, optical diagnostics, calibration and troubleshooting will be particularly valuable.
\n \nExperience with CO₂ lasers, infrared gas lasers or optical testing would be especially relevant, although direct isotope enrichment experience isn't required.
\n \nA technical degree would be useful, but equivalent hands-on laboratory experience is equally welcome.
\n \nPlease note: This position requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance.
